Two Worlds
Chapter three.

Page 1.

Caption: The answers to our questions are all around us. Most of us are not aware.

Panel 1. We see a young Mujama dancing in a disco. She's 17 years old, almost 18. There are many other Ecarians and elves. She has the time of her life. Next to her is a romantically involved boy dancing, called Brine. Another guy is approaching, with four drinks on a plate.  His name is Coops, romantically involved (not for long anymore in the very near future). Next to Mujama is a girl dancing, also romantically involved with Mujama. Her name is Byrne.
- SFX: Lyrics of a song with musical notes. "Birds are calling my name, friends will remain. I can hear the pulse of your heart. Forever, never lost.
- Caption 1: The Past.
- Caption 2: Does every story needs to have a proper beginning, middle and end?
I think my story begins right here, if I had to pick one.

Panel 2. Coops is trying to get their attention by talking very loud. The girls are totally into the music, still dancing and ignoring Coops. Brine looks to Coops.
- Coops: Yo, girls?! I've got drinks! Shall we pause for a minute?  
Yo, do you copy?
- SFX: Music notes.
- Caption: Many stories, especially with a lot of action in it, has a villain. I suppose I'm the villain of this story.

Panel 3. Brine taps on the cheek of Mujama and she watch to him with one eye. She and Byrne are holding hands now. Brine points towards Coops.
- SFX: same.
- Caption: I was not acting nice towards Coops that night.
Things just… didn't work out between the two of us.

Panel 4. Mujama looks to her friend Brine. She doesn't say a word, but her expression says the more. (Oke, we drink. But I'm not in the mood for Coops).
- SFX: same.
- Caption: And he was acting kind of a jerk lately.

Panel 5. Coops is talking. He loves to talk about it. They are standing around a small table. Byrne is showing something to Mujama, but smiling. Brine listen to Coops, standing across Coops. Mujama across Byrne. We see the back of Byrne.
-Coops: My dad bought a new company. A hostile takeover. He likes to call it that. Gods, I wish I was a year older. Have all the girls I want.


Page 2.

Panel 1. Coops now stay quiet, like he waits for a reaction of the others. But nobody says a word. Mujama looks annoyed and drinks her drink.

Panel 2. Coops rotates his finger around his glass with drink. He looks to Mujama. She has big eyes now, shocked of his words
- Coops: I wish my parents were dead, so I would be the big boss of the company. He, Mujama. Maybe we could strike a deal?

Panel 3. Mujama is totally pissed and slams him in the face. Both Brine as Byrne react startled.
- Mujama: What the hell happened with you, you moron? Today? Of all days?

Panel 4. Mujama yells at him, being hold by Brine. Coops looks confused, or just don't care.
- Mujama: You're a total shithead, Coop! You're nothing but a worthless worm, who did nothing for his money.

Panel 5. Coops making a very lousy apology. All his friends looking angry at him.
- Coops: Ah, come on. It just... slipped my mind. No big deal. How long has it been? Three years?

Panel 6. Byrne has enough of it and grasp Coops by his throat.
-Byrne: I've got enough of you! How dare you to dishonor this day?


Page 3.


Panel 1. Mujama walks away, followed by Byrne and Brine. Byrne looks on more moment at Coops.
- Byrne: We're over, man. That was just one step to many.

Panel 2. Just Coops in the panel. Maybe dancing people behind him.
- Coops: Oh, this is it? So Mujama gets Brine and Byrne for herself to bang in bed? Well,  I'll find myself this very night other guys and girls to bang with!!

Panel 3.  The view is now from outside. People are coming in and out from the disco, which is in the three. The people are walking on the branch. The disco is very high because sound goes up. The nightlife area is high in the forest. This all happens in the background. Mujama is in the front of the panel. She's sitting and looks sad. Byrne and Brine are both next to her.

Panel 4. The view is now more zoomed in into the 3 friends.
- Mujama: Coops doesn't understand! I didn't ask to inherit the company so young.
- Brine: He doesn't know what it feels like to loss both your parents.

Panel 5. Mujama spreads both hands out of frustration.
- Mujama: Aargh!! I don't have a clue what to do! They aspect so much of me. I'm just a 17-year old girl. I'm just normal again!

Panel 6. Small panel. Mujama gives him a look and with her face she says; Just shut up.
Brine: Who's become 18 over a few weeks.

Panel 7. Mujama stands up, walking away. Brine and Byrne look to each other.

Panel 8. Brine and Byrne are walking behind Mujama. Mujama is climbing a branch. They walk away from the light.

Page 4.

Panel 1. Mujama is still climbing, her friends climb behind her. No text.

Panel 2. Mujama stops at a big leaf, two times the size of her. You see her friends aprouching.

Panel 3. Mujama doesn't look at her friends, who stand behind her. Both react surprised at her announcement. Mujama looks scared, like of the world she knows can't be helped.
- Mujama: I'm pregnant.

Panel 4. Same panel, different reactions. Both Brine and Byrne are very happy with the news.
- Brine: I'm going to be dad!
- Byrne: We're with you, my love. All the way.


Page 5.

Panel 1. We're now in the present. Mujama wakes up very abrupt, this of a nightmare. What kind of nightmare we'll see later in the story. The view is from besides the bed, so we only see Mujama.
- Caption: Present.
- Caption: Pain! So much pain!

Panel 2. In this panel we see Byrne sleeping next to Mujama. She didn't wake up. The bed is big enough for 3 or 4 persons. She looks to her girlfriend. The face of Mujama is in disaree, almost panicking.

Panel 3. She steps out of the bed quietly. Small panel.
- Caption: I... I... water.

Panel 4. She's in the bathroom, lights on, and fills a cup with water. She notice a shaver, which belonged to Brine. Her face is sad.
- Caption: The shaver of Brine.

Panel 5. She walks backwards, dropping the cup.

Panel 6. She walks in a hall. It's dark, but there's enough light coming from behind her.


Page 6.

Panel 1. She opens the door of her daughters room. The view is from behind Mujama. We can see a part of the bedroom and see the bed in which Lyne is sleeping.
- Caption: My beautiful daughter Lyne.

Panel 2. She's standing inside the room. Her eyes are big. Still in panic. The bed is now empty, but looks like it's just used. This also goes for the room. All kind of girls-stuff like posters, make-up, stuff on the ground. Use your imagination. Lyne died recently, and Mujama hasn't cleaned up the room yet.
- Caption: No!
- Mujama: Please, no. No, no, no, no, no, no...

Panel 3. She touches the bed very fast, like she doesn't want to believe the bed is empty. In the door we see Byrne.
- Mujama: It's not true! Don't be true. Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't...

Panel 4. Byrne says the of Mujama. Mujama turns her head and is in panic. She loses complete control. Why? Because with Byrne she's save.
- Byrne?
- Mujama: Lyne? She's not in bed. Where did she go? Where's Brine?

Panel 5. The view is from before the two women. In distress Mujama leaves the room, searching for her loved ones. Byrne keeps calm, walking behind Mujama and puts the light on of the sealing.
- Mujama: Where the hell did that girl go? Is she out with Brine, doing gods know what? They can be both so immature.

Panel 6. Mujama walks in a corridor. Byrne follows and she looks worried.
- Mujama: Lyne? Brine? Where are you?


Page 7.

Panel 1. The birds (called Taskeons) are similar to the predatory birds of Earth. But they don't look like Earth birds. They looks friendly, but dangerous. They are, after all, alien birds.
We're in a very large room. Byrne is standing with the door, Mujama is standing more in the middle of the room. This panel is big. Mujama looks to four large birds. Three are sleeping, one is awake. They're sleeping in straw. The one which is awake is looking curious at Mujama. This one is two times bigger than the other three (they have the same size as the bird of strap).

Panel 2. Mujama is on her knees, silently crying. Byrne is holding her. We also see the birds, all awake and watching the two women. Magic green energy is circling around Mujama.
- Mujama: Huh... huh.

Panel 3. Zooming into the women. There's orange energy coming from Byrne. She whisper.
- Byrne: I'm with you. All the way.

Panel 4. Mujama looks in the eyes of her girlfriend. Byrne looks worried.
- Mujama: I've done a bad thing. I've lost control.

Page 8.

Panel 1. Sonro is knocking with one fist on a toilet-door (for men). He looks annoyed. If you look good something (like water) is leaving under the door.
Sonro: Mimic. Mimic! I know you're in there!

Panel 2. Same panel. But maybe smaller. No need now for the ground. Sonro is quit.  
SFX: klick.

Panel 3. Knocking with both fist.
Sonro: You're sitting there for 10 minutes now!! There are other people who need to go!! Like me.

Panel 4. Mimic is standing behind Sonro. He's drinking something with a straw. Mimic has an expression on his face like he not aware of the current problem.
Mimic: Hmm?

Panel 5. Mimic walks away, waving with his hand. Sonro realize the door is not closed anymore.
Sonro: You realize that you're going to suffer for this?

Panel 6. Big panel with enough room for the captions. Strap is sitting on the side of the window. We only see this in the panel. Outside we see birds flying, people walking on branches, etc. He has a tablet in his hand.
- Caption: I'm just ready with reading hundreds of pages about the crimes of Waleado. Mujama. Gods, what a life she must have lived. It' so unreal. So… monstrous.
- Boss Odista: Strap! Care to join this meeting?


Page 9.

Panel 1. The view comes from the corner of a long table. We see Strap looking his boss. On the table are sitting agent Mimic (male Ecarian), Sonro (male elf agent), Elisa(female Ecarian and partner of Strap) and Odista (female). Odista is not amused.
- Odista: We start with the Mujama-case, delivered by Strap. I presume everyone has read the report. According to your statement, they tortured thousands of children. Strap, did you verify the events in that dream?  

Panel 2. Strap is standing. He feels like the whole world is resting on his shoulders.
- Strap: Yes. Mujama is one of the thousands of captives from the Caverns Sanctuary Prison.
Short after the revolution started in Waleado, all the captives of the prison escaped. But most reports of who worked there and what happened there are erased. But there are reports of experiments.  

Panel 3. Mimic is the first to talk. He's the funny man, never serious. Strap looks confused of the sudden switch in topic.
- Mimic: Don't you want an old-fashion payback time? Come on, this is classic.

Panel 4. Above the table a round blurred picture appears. Mimic hands are glowing. He loves to tell this. Some are looking at him like; There we go again.
- Mimic: She probably collected your blood. See the possibilities of that.

Panel 5. Zoomed in on the globe above the table. We see blood cells.
- Mimic: We're watching the birth of a real Terra-like super-villain. Our powers are magic based. If we die, the magical powers seek someone closest... and who's worthy.


Page 10.

Panel 1. New scene. Mimic still talks, now with captions in the panel. We're not in the room. We see Mujama sitting in a lab-chair, surrounded by scientist. Someone is injecting a serum with a needle in the arm of Mujama.
- Caption Mimic: A superserum, made from your super-blood. You're half human and your powers are in your genes. That's not the case with Ecarians.

Panel 2. We see Mujama, floating in the sky with an evil laugh. Mhahahahaha. In her hand a green, long glowing staff, shooting energy blows with it. The team of Strap on the ground, ready to fight.
- Caption Mimic: Just as powerful... no, even more powerful than you! Determined to conquer Ecari, and only us to stop her.

Panel 3. We're back at the table again. Different reactions on the faces. Some are smiling, others not. Both Strap as Odista are not amused. The image above the table is fainting
- Strap: Stop acting like a idiot!

Panel 4. Mimic has raises both his hand and looks like he's innocent.
Mimic: 'sup?

Panel 5. Strap talks to the computer.
- Strap: Sivray, please open file 3078, date 1861, appel 23. Time 12.41. I want to see the video of the scene.


Page 11.

Panel 1. Again they're looking to a hologram projected above the table. We see fire.

Panel 2. Now we're at the scene. We're in the city of the elves. A very large building is on fire. You see other buildings. Note: This city is close to the forest city which you can see in the background.

Panel 3. Big panel. The scene is from the ground. We see a portal. People are coming out of the portal. Their clothes and faces have spots of black, coming from the smoke. These people are rescued. The portal is at a safe distance from the building which is on fire. You see the building in the background.
You see big birds, with large baskets which can carry many people.
The captions have their own colors for each person.
- Caption Strap: On this day, we've met for the first time.
- Caption Elisa: What do y mean?
- Caption Strap: Wait for it.

Panel 4. Now we see Strap coming out of the portal, with the last people he saved. Or he's the last coming out. A few people are waiting for loved ones.
- Caption Strap: Those people where the last I could find. I couldn't stay any longer in the building, searching for people.

Panel 1. A woman talks to Strap. We're zooming in now. It's Mujama and she's in panic. Strap talks to her. His face is sad.
- Caption Strap: I've met her before. She was there with her family for the holidays. I rescued her wife, but I failed to save her husband and daughter. I've found them already dead. I expect a full report of the fire-department today.

Panel 2. Now the eyes of Mujama are wide open. She freeze, like becoming a statue. The fear of losing her family became real and that is just too much. Her mind shuts down and can't make any thoughts anymore.
- Caption Strap: I failed her.

Panel 3. Now we see Strap. His face is with regret.
- Strap: The last thing she said was that she was really sorry. But I think she meant more. There was something unsaid in those words.

Panel 4. We see Lesia, the daughter of Strap on the back of her bird, flying very low above the sea. They really going fast, and she has a flysuit on. We'll see more of that later.
- Caption Odista: That's a powerful motive. What do we know about her, else than she's a C.E.O.?


Page 13.

Panel 1. Two birds go fast up in the air. Lesia waves at a human, who's sitting in a flying machine ( similar to the fantasticar of the Fantastic Four). This man is seen before in the memories of Strap. He waves back. Her bird is closing to Lesia and she is reaching with her hand to the saddle.
- Caption Strap: According to her files she's magical born. She's a dreamer and very powerful, but not strong enough to bend reality to her will.
- Caption Mimic: Which, ofcourse, could change after took your blood?
Caption Strap: Um..yeah.  I suppose so…. Frag!!!

Panel 2. We're back in the room. Everybody is watching each other. Silent.

Panel 3. Odista waves with her tablet.
Odista: Forget that possibility for the moment. That's not important now.

Panel 4. Back to Lesia and the birds again. They both go up fast in the sky. She on her bird in the saddle, he in his little fantasicar. Still the talking as captions of the group.
- Caption Sonro: How the hell did she managed to capture you? You just have to snap with your fingers and, voila, everything stops.
- Caption Strap: I really don't know. The last thing I remember is that I was fighting an Elsear-demon in Dorn-City.
- Caption Elisa: Ahh, an Elsear-demon. They can mess with somebody's powers.



Page 14.

Panel 1. You see her and the birds in the clouds. She talks to her bird. The bird does; Kreeee.
- Lesia: Are you ready?
- Caption Strap: Hmmph. You could say that. I remember both the demon and I fell and landed on a branch. There, when I looked up, I saw a surprised Mujama. Than… something happened. I think our magic collided which resulted in being both trapped in her dream.
- Caption Odista: What if she put you in the dreamscape?

Panel 2. We see Lesia falling in freefall. She has the time of her life using the suit. Her bird is diving right besides her.
- Caption Strap: I don't think so.
- Caption Mimic: Hnnf. I still say that she took your blood. She's lying.

Panel 3. She spread her arms and fly. She's graceful falling as it is called.
- Lesia: This-is-awesome!!
- Caption Strap: Mimic, you can really be annoying.
- Caption Mimic: Thanks. But just think about what you can do!! She's the first who had you captured.

Panel 4. We see Mickael flying next to her.
- Lesia: This is a great invention!
- Mickael: You're a natural. I takes humans months to learn how to use it.
- Lesia: We Ecarian love to fall! A lot!

Panel 1. Sideview. She goes very fast to the left, straight to a cloud. Her bird is behind Lesia.
Lesia: I so love this!

Panel 2. This is a very big panel. The view is pointed towards Lesia and her bird Carley. They're flying fast in the sky. Around them are clouds, of which are close to the 'camera'.
- Caption Odista: Oke, let's take a look of what we know, so far. Strap?
- Caption Strap: Mujama is C.E.O. of a very large company, so she's used to make hard decisions. According to her public files, she a survivor of the (genetic) wars. The large group which escaped are called the "captives". But everything about her period there is off-limits.
- Caption Odista: If the "shared dream" is correct, she is used as a guinea-pig as a child, along with countless of other children.
- Caption Elisa: Something like that damage a person. Badly.
- Caption Sonro: She was a mother. If she was a man, it would be about revenge. Violent revenge.

Panel 3. This panel could be placed in previous panel. We see Lesia and Carley passing by.
Caption Odista: Women are much more empathic. She had a normal life as a normal family.
- Caption Strap: A family that is taken from her.
- Caption Elisa: How annoying the remarks of Mimic can be, Strap. He has a point. What if your blood is taken from you. What could be done with it? What would it do when it's injected in an elf? Would the effects be temporary, or permanent?
- Caption Sonro: What troubles me more, there are thousands of them we didn't know about. How much have they changed? What are their powers? How much harm have they already done?


Page 16.

Panel 1. The view is birdview. Below us we see Lesia, birds and Mickael. They approach the coastline of a elf-village. They are around 150 meters above water.
- Caption: This case is clearly much bigger than we realized. We're given important questions. What happened to their magic? Maybe nothing happens, maybe the original powers are wiped away and the person gets Earth super-powers. Maybe the same powers as me, maybe something entirely else.
- Caption: So, we have a likely unstable woman who has lost everything and maybe in the possession of a very powerful and yet unknown power.

Panel 2. The view is now from the ground. Be creative. We're standing on a square. In the middle of it there's a fountain of water. Lesia is on her bird, landing at the square. Mickael lands with his machine, like a helicopter. We see elves walking, shopping. There are stores around the square. Selena, the mother of Lesia, is waiting for her. With her are Sama and Norién.
- Caption: I should go to here. Talk to her before she does something she can't turn back from.

Panel 3. Just the face of Selena. She's glad to see Lesia, and very proud.
- Selena: My little girl growing big. Look at you. Flying on your own.

Panel 4. The sun is shining. The bird flies away and Lesia walks with Selena. Mickael gets attention from Sama and Norién. They're taking a seat on a terrace of a café.
- Selena: I see you've enjoyed your new suit. You're sweating.
- Lesia: It's awesome! I just love this Terran invention. The things I can do with it!

Panel 5. Just the face of Mickael, talking enthusiastic.
- Mickael: My mother freaked out when I started with wingsuit basejumping, but my dad loved it who already did normal basejumping for years.


Page 17.

Panel 1. The three of them.
- Selena: So you've followed your father's footsteps.
- Mickael: It took me years of practice to be able to achieve efficient flight, and to successfully manage the suit's "angle of attack" to maximize performance.
An efficient wingsuiter can achieve descent rates as low as 25 mph and horizontal speeds up to 220 mph.

Panel 2. Lesia is looking cookie. She really loves to tell this.  
- Lesia: I took me 3 days.
- Mickael: Show-off.
- Caption Odista: I've just got the rapport of the fire-department, included all recorded material from camera's. We can watch the events from arrival of Mujama's family in the hotel. We could have a murder-case. Lethal toxins are found in the bodies of the husband and daughter.
- Caption Strap: Let's see what we have.

Panel 3. Now Lesia is telling and Selena, Sama en Norién listen amused.
- Lesia: Just the speed! It's amazing! And Carley was the first time surprised, but enjoyed it so much that we were flying besides each other!

Page 18.

Panel 1. We're back in the briefing-room. Odista is reading a tablet. His face is serious. Everybody is waiting for his response.

Panel 2. The captain looks to Strap. The others are silent except Odista. He puts on the holographic globe again.
Odista: Let's see what happened.

Panel 3. We're in an elf-city. Mujama, Brine, Byrne and Lyne are approaching their hotel.  Personal are taking care of the four birds of the family. Mujama looks happy. She's around her love ones and back in her birthplace.
It's the same hotel which was the fire. This event is before the fire. Mujama and Byrne are kissing each other. Brine has the hand of Lyne, both smiling.

Panel 4. Mujama holds hands with Brine en Byrne and all of them happy.
- Mujama: Finally free. Four weeks with no worries about work. We're here to make fun!
- Byrne: Swimming pool!
- Lyne: Yes!



Page 19.

Panel 1. We're at the swimming pool. It's ridiculous large and the diving board is ridiculous high. We see Mujama running on the board.

Panel 2. Her strong legs make her jump far. She screaming with a lot of fun.
- Caption Strap: Can you play fast-forward? Stop when one of the family is leaving.

Panel 3. We see Brine, talking to Mujama and Byrne, who are in the water.
- Brine: We're going back inside and change clothes.
- Mujama: See you later, sweety.

Panel 4. Brine walks with Lyne away and the two women are playing in the water. There are a lot of elves and Ecarian playing in the water.

Panel 1. Brine is sitting very lazy on the sofa in their hotel room and Lyne is pouring drinks in two glasses.
- Lyne: doep, doep, doe.
- Brine: It's nice of the hotel to bring us drinks.
- Lyne: Sure is.

Panel 2. They both drink.

Panel 3. Lyne is searching in her bag. The glasses are empty.
- Lyne: I've brought a game with me. are you up to it to lose again?
- Brine: Sure, why not.

Panel 4. Lyne walks to the table, but falls. She lose conscious and the game falls on the ground. The eyes of Brine are slipping away.
- Caption Elisa: So this is the moment they died? Who put the drinks in there?
- Caption Odista: Play back to the moment that the drinks arrive in that hotel room.

Page 21.

Panel 1. We see personal putting the big glass of drink on the table, but the face is blurry.
- Caption Mimic: What the hell?
- Caption Odista: It's murder. Whoever put it there, had the technology to mess with the camera's.
- Caption Odista: Is he, or she, responsible for the fire?

Panel 2. The panel is zoomed in on his hand.
- Caption Strap: Wait a minute. Zoom in on the hand.
- Caption Strap: I've seen that scar. One of the guards had that scar. The ugly one which I called guard one.
- Caption Elisa: So he's still alive.  

Panel 3. We're in the storehouse of the hotel. People are working there with pallets, boxes and cases.
- Caption Sonro: According to the results of the fire-department, the fire started from the storehouse. But, it was not an explosion.  

Panel 4. We see a big explosion in the storehouse and people got blown in pieces, blown away.
- Caption Sonro: But we can't see who or what caused the explosion.
- Caption Strap: So I have to take a closer look, so to speak.  

Page 22.

Panel 1. Back in the brievingroom. Odista speaks.
Odista: It's possible that we have a terrorist-attack on our hands. Strap, find out what reallu happened in the hotel. Take Elisa with you.
Elisa/Strap: Yes, sir.

Panel 2. We see everybody standing up.  The meeting is over.
- Caption Strap: Mimic could be on something and that terrifies me. What if Mujama took my blood? To use that to fix her life again?

Panel 3. Strap looks to his partner Elisa. They both leave the office.
- Caption: But how would she know? The most important thing about me is classified. Only the people in this room knows what I can do. What I'm capable of.

Panel 4. Strap walks by his table and takes his jacket from his chair. In his other hand appears his staff, glowing. When it appears, it's always small, but growing.
- Caption: Mujama is a C.E.O. of a very large company, and probably used to get what she want.
Elisa: Wandering off with your thoughts again?

Panel 5. Both Strap and Elisa walk through the portal he created.
- Strap: Well, can't say that my life is boring.
